    PROJECT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

    The complex of authentication and application of identification numbers on the body and label of the artificial mechanical heart valves is intended to create identification numbers on the body and label of mitral valves by laser ablation, saving information in databases and their following authentication.

    PROJECT TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

    Identification numbers are applied on the following products and materials:
    • Body – titanium alloy BT 16, BT 1.0 or carbositall of USB type;
    • Label – fluoroplastic tape Ф-4ПН or other polymeric material for medical use.
    Relief and contrast of identification numbers are kept on the processed products throughout the entire life cycle. Application of identification numbers is carried out by laser ablation of the material. Special loading-and-unloading devices are used in the system for fixation and feeding processed products. Information for applying identification numbers is generated at the authentication station of control computer that fulfils authentication of identification numbers on the body and label of the artificial mechanical heart valves, creates applied logo, translates it to the computer of the system, corrects database after processing the batch of artificial mitral valves. The system is equipped with two lasers providing required quality and speed of laser processing (applying identification numbers) of metal and polymer.
